Waterford - Warren R. Nienow, age 79, passed away at the Elder Care Cottages on October 17, 2020. He was born on June 14, 1941 to parents George and Dorothea (nee. Lemke) Nienow.

Warren proudly served in the United States Army from 1958-1961, during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he owned and operated a trucking company with his brother, George. With his wife, Janice, he was a longtime member of the Tri-County Baptist Church in Franklin. Warren was a member of VFW Post 11038 in Waterford. He will be dearly missed.

He was survived by his wife, Janice, until her passing on October 20, 2020; survived by his step-daughter, Chris (Ken) Lahner; step-grandson, Steven Lahner; Janice's siblings, Wayne (Debbie) Pepper and Diane Taylor; many other relatives, family, and friends.

Graveside services for both Janice and Warren will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, November 12, 2020, officiated by Pastor George Schlagel. Full military honors for Warren will immediately follow. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:30 am for the procession to the cemetery.
