Kenosha-William V. Calek known as "Wild Bill," 69, passed away the evening of August 8, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1955, in Illinois to Robert and Roselyn Calek. As a child he helped his father raise clydesdayles for Budweiser. Later in life he continued to work as a horse farmer in Ringwood, Il. Wild Bill was a true rock-n-roller who spent his life playing guitar, writing songs, and singing. He always enjoyed vacations with his friend Rec in Crystal Falls, Mi.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Kristin Rose (Joseph) Monticelli; and his siblings, Bob Calek and John Calek.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Christopher Calek.

Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21 from 12 noon – 2 pm. Memorial service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will immediately follow at United Presbyterian Cemetery.
