Union Grove - William "Billy Boy the Clown" Lyons, born to William Sr. and Bette Lyons on July 28, 1944, will be fondly remembered for his storied career as a beloved clown. He married his sweetheart Connie, also known as Cuddles the Clown, at the Circus World Museum, where their romance bloomed under the big top. William's jovial and playful nature endeared him to audiences far and wide, earning him a place in the Circus World Museum.

In addition to his colorful clowning career, William served his country with honor in the U.S. Navy for 26 years, dedicating himself to The Seabees. A proud member of the American Legion Post #21 in Kenosha, William was actively involved in the community, cherished by all who knew him. He was also a lifelong member of the Son's of the American Legion, as well as former member of the 40 et 8 Voiture 410 Kenosha County, WI.

Survived by his devoted wife Connie; and his children Scott Lyons, Malia Comstock, Christopher (Katrina) Lyons, Keith (Kitty) Lefevre, Michelle Jones, and his step son Ryan Kohel; as well as his brothers David and Timothy Lyons, William leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

A special thank you is extended to his granddaughter Cassandra and Timber Oaks for their unwavering support and care. In honor of William's life, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 21 of Kenosha.

A graveside service will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday November, 27 at 10:00 a.m.
