Union Grove - George M. Knudtson Jr. peacefully passed away at his residence on May 20, 2022. George was drafted in Korea and retired as a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserves after 20 years of service. He was an educator with Racine Unified Schools for 32 years.

George is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Halstead-Knudtson; children, Susan Singh, Linda Knudtson, Connie Knudtson, Keith Knudtson, Beth Knudtson, Mark Knudtson, Cheryl Knudtson, Brian (Michelle) Knudtson; stepchildren, Teresa (David) Radandt and Donald (Shelly) Johnsen; and many other relatives and friends.

George was preceded in death by his children, Craig (Melissa) Knudtson and Dean Knudtson.

Visitation will be held on May 28, 2022, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Raymond United Church of Christ with a service to immediately follow. Private burial will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Raymond United Church of Christ or the Graham Public Library.
